Between the unit itself, its location and the building amenities, this penthouse condo is the best rental my wife and I have encountered.
The condo is beautifully appointed throughout and had all the kitchen utensils and supplies we needed for preparing meals when not dining out. There are plenty of towels for the pool or beach. The beds are extremely comfortable. The best feature is the unobstructed 180-degree view of Banderas Bay. We spent many hours on the deck outside the Master bedroom enjoying the view, particularly with breakfast in the morning and watching stunning sunsets every evening. We had many whale sightings during our stay. The sliding floor to ceiling glass doors can be opened on all sides of the main living area and the Master, providing for a full open-air experience. We had these open whenever we were in the condo during the day and early evening and never had a problem with bugs. Having our own grill, seating area and plunge-pool on the outdoor upstairs floor of the unit was a nice plus, as was the weekly housekeeping service.
Upon arrival we were greeted by the manager who showed us the features of the condo and was always accessible if needed. There is also a binder provided by the owner containing all information needed regarding the unit. It also contains recommendations for restaurants, local excursions and things to do in town which was very helpful.
The Conchas Chinas location was perfect for us – close enough to town yet far enough to provide a quiet setting. The walk into town, either on the beach route or the main road, takes 20 -25minutes. A taxi takes 5-7 minutes and taxis are readily available outside the building.
The beautiful Conchas Chinas beach is a 5-minute walk. With everything readily accessible by taxi or walking, we had no need to rent a car.
The Condo building has a beautiful common pool overlooking the Bay along with a hot tub. The building is secure with card key access and there is always an employee on site in the lobby which has security cameras for the common areas. The on-site employees were always pleasant and helpful in answering questions.
This is a 5-star plus condo and one we will visit again.

An Ideal Location
Right across from a taxi stand offering transportation into town day or night. And downtown is so close! We were glad not to rent a car as parking can be a problem.
And right outside the enormous collapsing windows/doors, beautiful Banderas Bay, with various little beach spots to walk to and enjoy.
And if you don’t feel like cooking or going into town, there’s a very nice restaurant a short walk away.
So, if the location of this beautiful and comfortable apartment was its primary attraction, the place itself is lovely, full of unique Mexican art. Very relaxing. We hope to go back there soon.
